I'm pretty sure you used to be able to drop covenant items, but as everyone else is saying.. you can no longer do so.

You can farm darkwraiths, you know.

Get a friend or someone from this page for some password matches and farm with him.
But i suggest you should try it the regular way by invading. I know it can be frustrating but if you keep on for a little while you will get better and better.

You know those two darkwraiths outside the Abyss Watchers? Farm them. While you're at it, farm the Gru's for the Watchdog Covenant. You should be done within an hour or so. Even better, farm them while waiting to invade. Yes, the invasions can be very lopsided, but get creative!

But this only works if he doesn't suck at PVP.

i finally got one by killing 3 guys pvp and ill maybe do it with the wraith for more later.

You should get a good PvP weapon for faster covenant items farming, but that solely depends on the host of embers.
I recommend Lorian's greatsword, it's pretty good for PvE and PvP.
