With only 30 faith lightning blade is around 30+ damage compared with a gold pine resin, so it's not really worth it unless you don't have any other place to put those points.
Let's take a lightning based example
A golden pine resin only adds 95 lightning damage, which is relatively neglegible especially end-game
The Lightning Blade miracle however, adds 0.96 times the spell buff of the chime or talisman you use onto your weapon, so if you have one that has, let's say, 200 spell buff, that adds up to 192 lightning damage, way more than the resin adds
Also I reckon that with enough FP and ashen estus flasks, you could use the miracle more than the maximum of 5 times the resin allows you (at once)
The only reason to use the resins therefore, is when you don't have the stats for the spells, or you want to either rotten or red pine resin for poison/bleed
(Also some spells have buffs that don't exist in pine resin form, for example Blessed Weapon, Darkmoon Blade etc.)
