How do I get a crystal lizard to respawn?
He was right there downstairs in the spot where the assassin guys ambush you. Well I got ambushed and died before I was able to kill it.. Now it won't respawn even when I travel to the Firelink Shrine and back.

How do I get him to respawn? I haven't missed any lizards up until now, so not sure how to go about it, but I was under the assumption they just respan like regular enemies?

Quit and reset. A lot of lizards are actually placed to bait you into a trap, and it's best practice then to clear the area, reset, and then kill the lizard.

Pretty sure I've already done that. I traveled to majula and back and quit to the title screen and re-entered the game.

So you're posting something about Dark Souls 2 in the DS3 discussions. I think you clicked on the wrong game to discuss, dude. And yeah, lizards can be frustrating in DS2, because you actually have to go back to the bonfire in that game to respawn them. And if that doesn't work, then you must've already killed the lizard.

The picture in the post shows DS3 though.

Yeah? that's what I'm playing. It's the castle area, I jumped down to where the ambush is and didn't finish the lizard. I'm quote cetain it was still alive when I died too.

Edit: I mean firelink shrine, not majula, got it mixed up.

Odds are you already killed it if reloading the game traveling or using hwb doesnt work
Serrassi Effect May 4, 2017 @ 6:35pm
if you killed it, it never respawn. you get the roward automatically, but i guess if you died/warp before getting it, then youre out of luck.

But I didn't kill it. There definitely was no reward screen.

If anything I wouldnt worry to much on it the rewards arent great enough or unique to be such a concern

was supposed to be 2x twinkling tіt. I'd definitely find a use for 2 twinkling tіts ._.

But yeah, can't do much if it's just a bug.

You can buy infinite twinkling titanites by giving the ashes you find in Archdragon's Peak to the shrine handmaiden.
