One of those things that should actually be nerf'd just a tad, imo.
Lasts too long
in his 2nd phase, run around the pillars (if you go straight, the arrows are faster then you, but they slow down if they make a turn) untill the arrows run out (keep aldrich in sight as he tends to do his beam attack then)
They can't turn fast enough, and the pillars are wide enough that running all the way around them should keep you outside the AoE.
You'll take some damage, but it shouldn't be much.
You only need to roll his soul spears and scythe-gravelord and those are pretty telegraphed. His soul mass attack deals very little damage in NG and can be mostly ignored if you think only a few will connect.
