Alternatives are steal the fire or snuff it.
More importantly, did you level up 5x times from Yoel? If not you can only go for ending in which you help him/her slay Aldrich and then it's curtains.
talk to yuria of Londor, exhaust her dialogue.
meet anri on the road of sacrifices.
Meet Anri second time in catacomb of cartus.
3rd time you can talk to her/him right before wolnir's bossfight but is purely optional (You can tell Anri or not about Horace destination after killing him, only thing that actually changes - Anri makes grave for Horace in Smouldering lake or on the cemetery infront of cleansing chapel).
Talk to Yuria again after killing Horace. Travel further to the church of yorshka, exhaust Anri's dialogue.
Dont kill pilgrim hiding in the corner.
In darkmoon tomb (behind illusory wall under Anor Londo bonfire (at first floor) complete wedding ceremony. That's all.
Note: dont progress any furter than Anor Londo bonfire.
Kill Horace THEN tell Anri. When you get to the Boreal Valley, you must kill the chameleon'd assassin when you bump into Anri again at the church bonfire. This is the last requirement for her to show up at Anor Londo to complete the quest.
The difference between telling and not telling is where Anri shows up hollow. You will either find Anri where Horace used to be at the Smouldering Lake or at the steps leading up to the cleansing chapel.
Like every NPC just wants to accomplish their goal and then they can die in peace. It's kinda the thing with these faceless undead since DS1.
I think OP has already missed Yoel's part. Regardless, the assassin will still be there otherwise Anri shows up dead at the altar.
