Late game weapons

Any suggestions? I finished the base game, and now i want to start dlc. Any good weapons out there? I thought about using the black knight glaive.

Irithyll Straight Sword is always pretty neat, a bunch of enemies in the Ringed City gets a lot easier when their defenses are reduced. For Ashes of Ariandel you probably might wanna go with a weapon that deals fire damage, so the Black Knight weapons should be pretty neato there. Also the Immolation Tinder could come in handy, and some of the weapons you find in AoA as well (crow talons, onyx blade, earth seeker).

depending on your stats gundys halberd or the red-hilted halberd might be better than the BK Glaive. did you specifically want a halberd? what are your stats? etc etc your question is a bit too broad

Ringed city is filled with hollows, so hollowslayer might be fitting?

But always use weapons you like using. My favorite weapon might be bad for you, and maybe the weapon I think is the worst is the best for you. We can never know unless you try the weapons.

just got the onyx blade and i like the look of it, but will it do well in ringed?

I kind of like its moveset and the buff seems nice, i could go for a pyro type build but i cant aim for ♥♥♥♥ so id would be screwed in PvP in that regard. Also i wouldnt want to go against the demon from below with a weapon like that (or would i?).

Honestly felt a bit lackluster to me. Weapon art barely adds any damage and pratically splits the damage a third time.

Onyx blade is pretty great for high lvl caster hybrids if that's the route you want to go. Just play with what's in your bag. See what fits, and stick with something you like. There are no game breaking weapons (some are close but they're kind of lame).

How a bout a build for frieda scythe?
I just killed her and it looks beast.

Personally prefer the moveset of the onyx blade if yer going with a casterish build, but I never played with the scythe much. I'm sure you could make either work. Outrider set gets great weight / poise / absorption and would suit either weapon well. Just mix things up and carry both weapons. Each does better against certain weapons.
