Right, because just blocking with a tiny little dagger makes any more sense.
...oh, wait.
That doesn;t make sense either, nor does staggering heavy armor with one... or half the other ♥♥♥♥ in the game for that matter
Blocking with daggers is incredibly stupid idea, and parrying dagger is the only one that - you guessed it - exists for parrying.
In fact it exists IRL and is known as the only legit case of dual-weilding which usually goes together with a parier in only to deflect oponent's attacks.
I wanted to do ricard's rapier + parrying dagger but unfortauntely its incredibly stupid since off-hand parrying dagger does nothing and you cant parry with it if main-handed. Unless you two-hand it, which is a dead give-away.
