40 endurance with a +3 Ring of Favor can get you 4 swings, and almost enough to roll.

I disagree with being able to swing that many times unless it's for PvP. It may seem logical for "more is better" but for bosses especially, you won't be able to swing that much before being forced to roll. Unles you've got that much souls to spend, early playthrough endurance shouldn't really exceed 30.

High endurance is actually good for PvE, especially in the DLC, where stamina matters. I find hyper-aggressive gameplay to be quite useful, personally. And you can R1, R1, roll, R1, and regroup. I started my first run of The Ringed City with 20 endurance, leveled it up to 30, and even that felt low.

I am on my first playthrough with a luck/dex build. For those quick and bleed enducing weapons I should not need much stamina, right?!
