You dont have to say anything :P, I dont think its pointless summoning a person for a boss thats bad design. Gael, Halflight and Soul of Cinder are all thats left and i really dont mind if i skip Halflight
thats like saying a no estus run is pointless if you summon someone,or even dark souls is pointless if you block at any point
the only rule for a run like the no estus or SL 1 runs are whats in the name
no estus = no estus,so you dont use it,making any and all mistakes that much worse
SL 1 run,you have very little health,do very little damage,have very little stamina,etc,and cant afford to make very many mistakes,as at that point,most enemies attacks will either kill you,or just about kill you,both of those are with damage absorbtain rings and the Lloyd's shield ring effects in mind,so surviving an attack means you have to use an estus
if an enemy stays aggro'd on you,it doesnt matter if you have a phantom or not,as any mistake with that enemy will likely kill you,thus prolonging the run
