How to run and how to jump?!?

I see the controls it says to click the left stick down but my guy does nothing. I have to hold space down to sprint, and then double press it to jump while holding controller stick to move.

This is not very comfortable and makes me miss my jump quite a bit.

Anyone else having this problem?

I would suggest playing with a controller.

You can't jump while not moving, at least I never did.
You just need to hold space bar to start running then tap space again to jump.

I think I indicated in my OP that I am using a controller :P

Left stick click does not jump for me. Only holding spacebar to sprint and pressing it again allows me to jump. I have not been able to figure out how to sprint and jump using xbox S controller.

keep holding b to run and while you're running press the stick.

you have to press down on the stick when you do so while running.

I am using an Xbox One S Controller. Pushing left stick forward and clicking it does not make my character jump.

Hold B to sprint. While sprinting, click the left stick. Your character will jump. You can't jump without sprinting.

If clicking the left stick doesn't work, try pressing B again. You can always check what the button to jump is by going to the contoller options.

I know people are constantly saying the same things over and over, but seriously just try to rebind the button. Like someone suggested, bind it to B to make it play similar to Dark Souls 1.
