BUG THREAD: Official Post Co-Op Update Bug Report Thread

Hey dudes!

If you've made it this far, you read the title, and I commend you.

We're glad so many people have been enjoying the co-op update, but as it turns out adding an additional playable character can introduce some bugs. Who could have guessed?

We're monitoring the forums and have seen all the posts so far, but in an attempt to help us keep track of even the smaller bugs you might have found I'm going to sticky this thread so there's a good place to post anything weird you come across.

We're going to be squashing any bugs we can in the next update, so we appreciate all the reports, we wanted to make sure we gave it a bit of time so that we've hopefully gotten most of them in the next patch.

NOTE: Bug reports from things like Jetpack mode are welcome, but we're really looking for main-playthrough issues that affect the core game.

I found that if the key position is changed while using the keyboard, the skycall is invalid

Think I found a bug where once I completed the future mission with Cervul he could no longer use bandages and was stuck with the future method of healing. Don't know if this is intended or not.

There are two I noticed:

- When completing a coop game (doesn't matter if 1P or 2P), reloading the save and using a Game Wiizard cheat to enable an altering mode like Jetpack Mode, it softlocks the game.

- Another softlock is using Poison Daggers to defeat the boss of the secret water dungeon (the one with the fourth armor) and letting the poison deal the last damage while the enemy is airborne. The boss stays in the air forever, thus also forever delaying the death animation flag.

entering Katski and buying advanced weapon before going to Darsov (by using 99999xp+shield) will softlock the game (event of approach of beast with rain doesn't work at all)

I def had the softlock issue with the jetpack mode. I tried using but it broke. Also In the save next to the location where you get the necromonicon, my friend's character walked into the lava and died when I had the banner on. It was easy to get the life back but it was kinda funny and we both cackled.

Edit: The banner thing can be replicated in any place with a hazard nearby.

In the final dungeon, if you approach the water boss from the right, the door is locked but it still triggers the screen shake, which goes on forever and softlocks the game.

Could you give me more details please?

1- Are you talking about the double Leviathan (Corruptor of Mind) inside Urzon Citadel ?
2- What mode did you play ( Solo, 1P coop, 2p coop ) ?
3- Were you using cheats or accessibility options?
4- If you were playing in co-op mode, do you remember the actions that each of you did or each character position before it happened?
5- The door was closed and you did not have access to the area where the boss was or you entered in the area and the door closed behind you?
6- Just to be sure: you did enter this room through the door on the right, didn't you?
7- Any other details that you can think of would be nice :)

I noticed, when I was playing the Switch version, that attempting to enable or disable any character-changing cheat (i.e. Jetpack) and any other cheat (like Infinite Mana, for example) simultaneously causes the game to softlock. And yet, when I did it one cheat at a time, it doesn't act up like that.

Simply put, I access the Game Wizard menu, turn on Jetpack mode only, and access said menu again to activate one other cheat (i.e. 99 lives), to avoid the softlock problem.

I noticed that too when I went for the Future ending via co-op mode. I think this is more of a developer oversight (i.e. a glitch) than an intention.

I had the same softlock bug, I put on infinite mana and jetpack while being evil in co op mode and it just went black screen.

If you do the "travel to the demonic future" with cervul, beat it and continue afterwards, his toolkit gets overwritten with the potions he gets for the run&gun scenario. Painful, now I cant banner myself up anymore in hell. (Pure Good Playthrough)

EDIT/Update: Another reload restores all tool, except the bandages.

i think this is a bug maybe? but in 2p mode you can collect coins that fell in the water/lava if you get close enough of where it fell
