I'm trying to add the 4ever mod to SS4

How do I add mods to the game? I have downloaded the file fo the 4ever mod but unsure how to install it onto the game?

Copy the SS4E Mod Extended Installer into your Sudden Strike 4 folder and run it there.

Sorry the extended installer? The only folder I have from the downloaded mod is - (Sudden Strike 4Ever Skins & Zoom mod v.1.15.30080)

How to install and use:

The mod will only work with version 1.15.30080.
Copy the SS4E 1.15.30080 Installer into your Sudden Strike 4 folder and run it there.

ok thank you, I've managed to do that but everytime I run the mod the original version just runs. Any ideas how to make sure the mod runs and not the original game?

Just test zoom with your mouse,by the way, you should already see some new skins for German soldiersin the first missions.

Yeah tested, not sure its working. Still have the same old grey skins... the new skins and permanent corpses not working?

Yep it's not working tried to re-download it several times and move the folder into the sudden strike folder. double click to start it up and it just starts the original game not the mod. Starting to think if its a windows issue? Windows 11?

Create a new folder (TEMP), put exe in it an lauch the exe.
Open the SS4 folder and compare sub folders with created folder, and ujst put sub folders from TEMP to SS4 folder.

The file which is downloaded for Mod is called SS4Ever Mod Extended v.1.15.30080. Are you saying move that into a folder called TEMP?

Yes, move SS4Ever Mod Extended v.1.15.30080.exe in a new folder (TEMP) and launch it. You will some new sub folders which you'll to copy in your SS4 folder.

I moved it into the temp folder and launched... it still keeps opening up the original SS4 .... not sure what else to do? :(

From your TEMP Folder, you will see all mod sub folders, copy all. Go to your SS4 folder (should be : \Steam\steamapps\common\Sudden Strike 4). From Sudden Strike 4 folder, paste sub folder from your TEMP folder.

I would like to play this but keep running into the same problem. I install the mod and when the game gets to the screen where you need to press the space bar to continue the game freezes. After that my SS4 regular game is unplayable and I need to download it again.

Are there more specific instructions on how to install this mod? The instructions on the site do not work for me.
