COH is strategic on close combat level and SS4 is strategic on battle level (one level above close combat level). In COH you are an officer of your company and in SS4 your are an officer (or general) of your army. It takes different skills. SS4 requires strategic skills, a plan and team work. Both are good games. I prefer SS4 because its like playing chess.

Nonsense. SS4 isn't an arcade game. SS4 is already much better than SS2. BTW I have never seen you in any games of SS4. I respect your taste but don't talk crap.
Put your butt in MP brother!
Some units and features are not yet enabled on the MP maps. SS4 is still very beta and perhaps for that reason restricted (good decision by dev team). In the latest beta more units and features are available. I am glad that they keep SS4 simple, because less is more. Too many different types of units will break the game, I think. The tactical and strategic game play is what makes SS4 so great! Tactics and strategy is complex enough.
In ss1 Stuarts can destroy a Konigstiger by firing at its frontal armor. just sayin
It is similar to Afrika Korps vs Desert Rats, if you played this.
It also kinda feels like Blitzkrieg 2, but infantry is unfortunately in single units, not squads.
Not a perfect game, a bit too easy in the campaigs, but a good one nonetheless.
There are no new alternatives on the market anyway.
Love the game for that

The opposite is true. SS4 is not arcadish, not at all. Perhaps you should start playing MP and experience yourself how SS4 really works.
Totally agree.
There are still some lack but not much annoying as on CoH.
Dude obviously you havent played SS2... and SS4 is trash for all the reasons you just mentioned above.
The fact the game is very much still a beta and they advertised it as finished and then charged full price for an incomplete game makes them also a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company.
FACTS.
This is the only fact. Fortunately this is changing.
TNT is a SSF and SS2 clan. I have played these games for a decade. If you think SS4 is trash then why are you still here in this forum?
You just proven my point. There are indeed no "healthpoint" in SD: N44 so yes in a sense it is more realistic. When people refer to "realism" in video games, it means they are more closer to emulating real-life not because they are real-life, there is a huge differential there.
