Hello, I cannot join a friend in sudden strike 4 multiplayer. I am playing on Mac and my friend on Windows. Is this the problem?

Cross-plattform multiplayer still has problems. We are trying to fix it but we cannot promise anything.

I'm sorry but "cannot promise anything" is simply not good enough. You guys already made that promise, pre-release as well as during the last couple patches. People have made their purchase, in effect giving you their vote of confidence with their wallet and now you are telling us that we basically purchased half-a-game. Frankly, that's deeply disappointing.

Simple Answer thats not the point. If you say you will Port it to Mac than please be honest an Tell the customers that some Services Will Not work until today.

I have only ever been PC (had 1 iphone, no more apple ever again ever) so I am interested, do other games work between platforms? It seems like a big ask to be honest although I am hardly educated on the issue. To me it feels like an xbox and a playstation trying to link up and nobody would expect that so why should it be different here? Genuinely asking.

Of Course... For Example cs:go, Verdun, Day of infame and so on can Play multiplayer with windows users

There are tons of multiplayer games that work cross-platform, and we are mot talking about wildly different systems here. It's not PC-Xbox or PC-PS4 cross play but Steam multiplayer between different operating systems which... a lot of games manage just fine.

Not being able to play with people who bought on GOG I could accept, that's a different system, same goes for PSN or Xbox or whatever else.

As to the "simple solution" - yeah, that might be simple for some people, not for others, so let's try and not demean valid criticisms of the game's problems, shall we?

Look man lighten up, after my jokey "simple solution" (which is more just a gripe with apple more than anything) I did engage in actual discussion about cross platform play and even admitted that I was uneducated on the issue and was genuinely interested so maybe you are over reacting? "No More Tears" lol I think I need some I'm still cracking up here.
