Seriously?! Only 4 maps for multiplayer?!
Maybe, I should refund money? I bought this game for MP games and see 4 maps only. I'm disappointed.

if 4 maps at initial release disappoint you greatly about the game overall, then you should refund the game.

Yes, I did it. I play only MP, single player absolutely don't interesting.
There's no matchmaking, sdly, that devs don't think about multiplayer. Even these 4 maps was made bad, just a reflection.

Hi everybody.
@Resurrected summed it up the best and most accurate way, therefore I am quoting him on that, rather than writing a wall of text on my own:

Hi guys, we're honestly sorry that you don't like the multiplayer.

The focus of Sudden Strike 4 was clearly the single player, but nonetheless we wanted to deliver a solid basis for the players who also want to play multiplayer. The multiplayer provides up to 8 players the chance to fight tactical battles, occupy strategic positions, earn points and use these points for reinforcements and / or air support like bombers or paratroopers. Additionally thanks to the integrated Steam Workshop Support players can create and share their own maps that are up to four times as big as the already existing maps.

We tried to make the game as transparent as possible and show players the game before release with lots of videos and beta access to both single- and multiplayer, so everybody who is interested in the game could take a close look at every aspect of the game. If you still are dissatisfied with what you got we are very sorry, but all I can say then is: We did our best to avoid this situation. If you have suggestions or ideas how we can improve in doing this please let us know.

-cheers

Thanks for reply. I doubt I'll buy the game later.
COH2 defeated you and Blitzkrieg3. I dont play COH2, because Relic portrayed russians like animals killing all on their way, the worst evil on the Earth, yes, it's just the propaganda of hatred to communism (USSR) and ignorance. But not about this...
You could make a good tactical RTS with interesting multiplayer, SS4 сould lives the years because of MP, SS4 could be in the top 100 every day because players in MP, you could get much more money because of MP. But you chose another way, play and forget. That's what I did. I played 1.5h (as I wrote, don't like play vs AI in games), returned the money and forgot.

I like the SP in the SS4 and its was clearly aimed for SP from the very start.

However if so, I'm wonder about the editor (Yes I read the whole FAQ) but it is never really stated that you can create true "missions" like in the campaign.

I was also digging around with my limited knowledge the editor/unity and from what I understand, you can only create skrimish or multiplayer maps NOT actually SP maps with mission objectives and such :/

Please devs dont tell me that is true :/ I was really looking forward to this game and recreate old mission maps from SS1-SS2 and not a created skirmish map that may look like a recreated old SS1-2 map but its just a 2vs2 or 4vs4 skirmish match :/

Devs can you give a more insight on if you can create "missions".

With only 5 Mp maps and a SP campaign (I like it) that after 1-2 playthroughs the game will be forgotten and dead in only afew weeks.

Thats one reason Men of War can stay alive even to this day after over 7 years thanks to all missions and maps from the community
