Recent Development Status: Dream Traversal System

Hello players,

I am currently about to complete a very interesting system — a linking system between different dreams.

Compared to the Demo stage, which only presented isolated dream experiences, this system can now naturally string different dreams together, building a truly interconnected dream network.

This is not just switching between scenes, but a completely new structure. Through a newly added feature — the Dream Transition mechanism — you will be able to truly travel within the world of dreams.

Imagine:

One second, you are at home scrolling on your phone, surrounded by a familiar room and faint screen light;
The next second, you are standing on a deserted island, with sea wind roaring, a vast sky above, and sand beneath your feet that feels unbelievably real.

This kind of transition is no longer linear. It is not simply “entering the next level.”
Dreams are no longer separated from each other, but instead permeate, extend, and interweave.

You can even dream within a dream, and directly return from one dream layer to the previous layer — time and space begin to intersect, fold, and become distorted.

This structure naturally forms a multi-layered dream labyrinth.

Inside this labyrinth:

Conventional logic will gradually fail
Linear paths will no longer be reliable
Causality will begin to become blurred
Reality and imagination will interpenetrate

You may return from a scene that seems like an ending back to the starting point, or discover completely unfamiliar exits within familiar spaces. Every transition becomes a challenge to perception and cognition.

This is no longer traditional level design.
It is a spatial system constructed by the rules of dreams themselves — interconnected and continuously expanding.

I hope that through this “dream within a dream” structure, I can bring you an unpredictable and uncategorizable new experience — a truly dreamlike experience.

A new Demo will be updated soon, where you will be able to experience this dream traversal mechanism for the first time.

Dev Update | Dream Three – Earth Destruction Plan

Finally… this chapter is basically done.

Honestly, it took more time than I expected (even I was a bit shocked). During development, this level went through several major overhauls and was rebuilt again and again. Looking back now, it has become the most interaction-heavy and complex level so far.

I call it “basically done” because a lot of details can only be discovered through testing. The next round of testing will start soon, and I hope the feedback matches the feel I’ve been building for the gameplay. If not, there may be more testing and tweaks ahead.

I won’t spoil the story here, but the style stays consistent with the demo: cute and a little bit absurd.

The development pace is still a bit slow. I probably underestimated the complexity of this type of level. Major structural changes are done, and underlying issues are gradually being fixed. Even so, completing a single level is still demanding, but the process is becoming clearer and easier to manage.

2025 · Last Day

Today is the last day of 2025, and it’s kind of crazy how fast this year has flown by. Let me share a bit about what I’ve been working on.

I just finished the "Star Picking" level, and using it as a base, I tweaked the overall flow of the game. The old level selection is gone—now levels are experienced in sequence, which lays the groundwork for the "Dream Wander" feature.
On the story side, I’ve been tightening the pacing and trying out multiple storylines running at the same time. Characters and events now overlap in time and logic, giving a dreamlike, unpredictable feeling. It’s a little chaotic, but that’s the point—it’s supposed to feel like a real dream.
I also spent time cleaning up data, fixing more bugs, and adding new animations and events to make the characters and world feel more alive.
In the coming period, I’ll continue expanding content and testing both new and existing systems. I’m excited to see how much deeper I can take the game in the new year.

What's the problem with games using arrow keys?

The game is very pretty, but I stopped playing at the first minigame, where the arrow keys don't work, right where we need skill the most. They don't work in the menu either. Only WASD... Why????
