Where the heck is Samid?

The guides on the internet say to walk one way tp find him in DOS Classic. And to walk in a different direction in DOS EE. And they imply that the player will encounter Samid in a short distance, and before entering Silverglen. But I just can't find him in any direction. I appreciate any help.

I will add, Samid is the character you talk to, to initiate the quest "Infiltrating the Immaculates". When you first leave Cyseal and move on to the next area, he is supposed to be somebody you run into almost as soon as you enter that next area.

i had to google.

if you go to silverglen .. outside of silverglen on the left exit there is a waypointshrine right. if you walk further there is a way that leads down to the left.. he apiers there.

after you met him and you walk he path further you encounter some emaculates dont fight them.. they are over-LVL. you can pass there test and continue the path.. dont atack the spider-egg. if you want the exp you can do it later anyway. anyway.. if you find the chamber of immaculates you can absolve there the test.. how ever it can be a dificult fight in the end.. because you are normaly suppose to go to hilberheim before you do this part. like i said it can be a diffucult fight for beginners.

For anybody else that might be having this same problem, do what BOT said, but also: Samid is hiding among the trees. you'll have to go off into the trees before Samid will engage with you. Because he's in hiding fro the Immaculates.
