Immaculate Prison

The one entrance I've found is via the schoolhouse in Sacred Stone. But that door is locked, and the classroom instructor won't let me pass. Is there some later stage where I can get into the prison (I just got to Sacred Stone)? Or is there something else I'm not seeing?

NVM. I found the key to the prison door upstairs.

Yup. The key upstair, but you will anger them if you open the door, I believe. You can also enter the prison from outside village and around the corner.

Yeah, I avoided opening the doors in the prison. And later I found the "outside" entrance. I guess we'll never know what they intended to do with the prison.
