How do you pick up Nick's head?

I've tried everything - dragging it into my inventory, telling him I'm going to pick him up, attacking it, etc. Is this a glitch or have I missed something?

I'm guessing he's still on the pedestal? If so there's some quest parts to do, involving that rather excitable guy in the back row. Otherwise drag and drop into inventory usually works.

Talk to the head. You'll get an option to ask if he's ready to go. If the owner or crowd is around, you'll hear that there are too many people watching.

I've done that. He said he was ready to be picked up, but I could not drag him into my inventory, despite there being not a single person around. When I click on him again, all it does is prompt the same dialogue.

Did you try right clicking the head? it should give you the option to pick it up :o

just trow a smoke granade or smoke arrow and grab it ;)

Get the book play book explaining a story about Cyseal's finding then speak to Katherine the fair manager. After than give the one guy sitting on the bench in the talking head crowd the coins so he can rally up more spectaors. Then go speak to the guy holding the play on the non talking head side, (I dida 2 man show in co-op mode). You have to memorise the 6 lines or so, the crowd goes wild and all claps etc. You will see they all left the talking head side. This leaves you open to go steal the talking head without getting noticed. :)

I actually figured it out. You won't be able to pick up Nick's head until you find his body in the Black Cove. Only then is it possible to pick up the head. As for getting rid of the crowd, the easiest way to do it is to hire Gallagher for Cedric (gets rid of the spectators) and then tell Reginald that his crowd warmer's gone (gets rid of him). But your way works too, thank you :)

That's odd, I've definitely picked up Nick in two playthroughs so far before even setting foot into Black Cove. But I guess if you've cleared it, whatever weird bug was stopping you has been been defeated. Or bypassed.

Hm, that must be a bug, then. I thought it was purposely done that way, since in both of my playthroughs I couldn't pick the head up until I had found his body. Weird.

With regard to picking up the head, I was able to pick up the head after talking to a guy and getting him to draw the crowd away. Possibly of import, I had also already visited the basement objective. This was all long before going to Black Cove, though.

With regard to Nick not disappearing, that's definitely a bug. Nick is just another summon, like the spider and others.

Found a way, just use 1 char to stand next to the head and use someone else to teleport the guy on the stage just behind the wall by the entrance. Note that you have to stand at the right angle to have a clear line of sight to get him BEHIND the wall. Now switch to the other char and pick up the head. Then just end the convo with the char you used to teleport. Done. Cheers!

If you help the other guy at the other stage get a crowd and talk to the guy with the head after that he runs to the other stage and you can just pick up Nick's head. The trick is to get the crowd and the guy away from the stage.
