grenade accuracy?

sooo I have nooo idea how grenades work, anyone care to enlighten me ?
whenever i throw grenade it NEVER lands where i aim, and i don't mean slight deviation either, and this is a marksman/dex character trying to throw... am i missing a grenade specific skill ??
or is this how the game is designed? (if so ... *barf*)

Grenades have a random trajectory unless you invest into the Pinpoint Talent (Req: Scoundrel 1), at which point they land exactly where you place them. Pinpoint is required if you don't care to gamble with grenades.

If you want to use grenades a LOT, you might also want to consider picking up Slingshot (Req: Man at Arms 1) to extend the range another 5 meters.
