Noxious Bulbs (spoilers)
Trying to get to the damn cathedral but there are all these bulbs on the way. The book I read about them says that you should fire the opposite damage type to disable the bulbs, but that's not working for me. Any ideas?

Aren't the Noxious Bulbs the plants that fire poison at you? If they are what I'm thinking about then I just fire "fire" back at them and kill them.

There are some mines somewhere I read in one of the notes / books. The imp said that he made some the colour that they are sensitive too, and just to mix it up, made some that are sensitive to any other except that colour / mode... I am assuming for the 4 elements!!

Answer: The ones that don't work, hit it with the same type! (ie. red for fire)

Tried that, didn't work. I did spend about 8 minutes force firing on one and that killed it off, but it was boring. In the end, I just cheesed it, used the pyramids and the teleport spell to transport to poison areas with as much poison resistance as possible, and spend 30 seconds being stunned in electrical fields to get to the other side.

The weird thing is, you can use a trap disarmer to get rid of the bulbs when you get to one.

The strange thing is that I haven't come across what you are talking about lol!

It is north of the Sacred Stone village in Luculla forest, the very NE area of the map.

To deactivate the bulb in front of you cast a spell at the next one in line. i.e. If you have a blue bulb in front of you and a red one after that, cast a fire spell at the red bulb to deactivate the blue. Continue this pattern till the final bulb in line then cast 2 backward to deactivate the final bulb. Don't know why this is the case, but it worked for me.

if you have high perseption you see traps there its important so you dont mess everything up.
now jump or teleport some one over those plants. there is a leaver.
and do it again for the second leaver.
use the pyramids to bring your team after you finished jumping around. you can also throw the pyramids if needed or teleport them.

you can also hover over all that crap with an scoundrel.
you also can teleport the bulbs somewhere else if i remember correctly. not sure if it was possible in dos 1.. but in 2 it is.
