Flurry and Dual Wielding
Hi Everybody!

Before I spend too much time rolling a dual wielding warrior, I was wondering if someone could tell me if the Man-at-Arms skill Flurry hits 4 times with both weapons (for a total of 8 hits) or just uses the main hand weapon (for a total of 4 hits.)

I'm hoping it's both, since otherwise I'll probably have to abandon the character :(

Thanks.

p.s. Yes I know going two-handed is probably better overall from a damage perspective but I want to roll a DW warriror :)

Flurry attacks only with your mainweapon. Single handed also does not stack with dual wield, at least for auto-attacks, so I guess dual-wield swordsman for example isn't that great. But two Swords of the Planet could still hurt extremely with high dual wield I guess.

You sure?

I'm not going to say that you're wrong since I haven't played dw warrior but, I find it strange that rogue abilities would scale with both weapons and not flurry. Is it flurry specific or all man-at-arms abilities that don't scale with both weapons?

Most man-at-arms take weapon damage in account so both hands, but flurry goes specifically main hand only in description: http://divinityoriginalsin.wiki.fextralife.com/Man-at-Arms

But they also state whilwind could knock down, but that is wrong...

Interesting and thanks for the link. I didn't even know the Enhanced Edition had a wiki up yet.

Hi guys. Thanks for the replies. I've also read the wiki but was wondering if anyone has actually tried it in game, since the wiki also refers to "main weapon" for whirlwind and battering ram, but both of these use the damage from both weapons combined.

It's interesting that while Flurry states that it uses main weapon for its damage, it only deals slashing dmg regardless of additional dmg that you have on your weapon (elemental, tenebrium)...

u know u can test it urself buy check skill statue damage while use 1 weapon and dual weapon
