Report a translation problem
If elemental tortoise stacks with the max resistance, than you should be able to easily go over 100%, but so far I don't know, if it does. Haven't played that far yet. Or you can go with avatar of fire, wich gives additional 25% resistance if those stack with the max.
In the patch notes it said:
- Max resistance of player chars was capped to 80%, this is now 100%
Am I understanding it wrong?
But they also made it harder to get high resistances even with man-at-arms, so can't tell how easily 100% are achievable in late game.
Nope.
I have a fire mage with 96% base resist (for using explode).
What has changed is that having >100% (via chilled) no longer heals you. Annoying, I was trying to use frozen / heat etc to make a char who could port into the middle of combat and AoE.
Hint: Hiberia map, north, there's a reason that the wolf master has an anti-fire Aura. It was too easy otherwise ;)
Yeah, I was just trying to get away with not having to spend AP on casting a spell.
