Also I think that weapon disactivation does nothing, because he still uses his rocket launcher or arrow bolt.
The rockets give you an entire turn to move out of the way.
DO NOT USE AIR SPELLS. The robot has vulnerability against it, BUT it will CHARGE him and he will one shot you next turn unless you can discharge him again.

It's just any combination. If he is charged pull every lever once and he discharges. It doesn't matter which levers are used first.
It's better to use as much air spells as possible if your last character discharges the robot. You cause a lot of damage, and no ultrabolt at all. Of course you shouldn't use any air spell if you can't discharge him...
And how do you know which is the last character before the robots turn? You don't. Besides when the mages die, the order changes again.
The bar only shows up when you enter combat. At that point it's not possible to swap items between characters anymore.
