Sparkmaster 5000 fight
This is not a thread of how to kill him, but I'm intrigued by the 3 levers there are. Is there a combination for them to work? I'm guessing that they are used to spill oil. or probably with combination with discharge.

Oh and by the way, screw you loot system, on my first fight where I had 2 deaths got a unique, blue and green item. When I beat it without deaths I got 2 greens....

Ok I think I go it. Once the Sparkmaster is charged, pull the leavers from left to top one and it works as if using controller for discharge. Meh...

Also I think that weapon disactivation does nothing, because he still uses his rocket launcher or arrow bolt.

Yeah it seems in the enhanced edition the weapon deactivation isnt working anymore, he is still using his ultra bolt and one shotting my party even though his dialogue says that his weapons arent working.

I did it with two dual-wielding electricity wands. He has vulnerability to electricity and I figuered if he was going to be shooting the discharges regardless, the only thing I can do is end combat as fast as I can through dps.

its still annoying wasting some rez scrolls on a broken fight.

Ultrabolt is not a weapon system, it is a chargeup from the mage. The remote works just fine for that.

The rockets give you an entire turn to move out of the way.

That is bad design, then. A controller with "weapons deactivation mode", that doesn't counter the machine's biggest weapon, the 1-shot ultrabolt. Makes no sense and will only frustrate the player instead of making him feel smart.

wtf? The ultra bolt one shots my group. How am I supposed to kill the robot or the mages then?
AdRy Nov 1, 2015 @ 3:55am
So I finaly did it: "Angry, Angry, Sleepy" will "discharge" the robot. The mages constanly charge it (you can see lightning balls in the robots hands). So you have to discharge it in the first turn after it got charged, then stun/disable the mages and kill them. As long as they are stunned or dead, you can use "Sleepy, Sleepy, Happy" to disable the robots guns.
DO NOT USE AIR SPELLS. The robot has vulnerability against it, BUT it will CHARGE him and he will one shot you next turn unless you can discharge him again.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fight.

It's just any combination. If he is charged pull every lever once and he discharges. It doesn't matter which levers are used first.

It's better to use as much air spells as possible if your last character discharges the robot. You cause a lot of damage, and no ultrabolt at all. Of course you shouldn't use any air spell if you can't discharge him...

And how do you know which is the last character before the robots turn? You don't. Besides when the mages die, the order changes again.

Hint: there is bar on top of your screen with turn order

Another hint: You can knock Sparkmaster down.

The bar only shows up when you enter combat. At that point it's not possible to swap items between characters anymore.

I found you can freeze the sparkmaster for whole rounds if you have the items and spells for it. Fire doesn't work for ♥♥♥♥. Then you quickly kill the skeletons and Discharge him as nessisary. Focusing the skeletons is key. However I have yet to manage to keep a single one of those idiot farmers alive. This was also with a second player that was kinda a pisspoor mage.

The three levers are a fail-safe hail mary if you're about to get Ultrabolt annihilated. :StunJacks:
