[Slight spoilers] Arhu's failed experiment
So, i'm having some issues in the quest mentioned in the title. My remote controller doesn't work for the bot. I use the deactivate weapons command, and he still fires every turn.

Just a bug, or my own stupidity? I've tried to use the device on multiple heroes, so it's not about the character. If i've missed something gameplay-involved, i'd appreciate the help.

I've noticed this as well it's not just you.

You have to be in melee range. And it only disables the current turn. If he gets reloaded again, he will shoot again. Nasty Boss.

If you're talking about his super bolt, I had that problem until I realized you need to use the command to discharge his electricity. Angry Angry Sleepy. I think the disable weapons command disarms his other weapons. Though, either way, his super bolt is the biggest problem. Discharging that gives you a much better fighting chance.

Not necessarily. I think you just need to be in spell range for it to work.

Ah, didn't even realize that. Cheers man, i'll try it out later.

Pulling those three levers also discharges his super bolt charge. As long as there's no static coming off of his claws, he'll stick to his normal attacks.

The controller does indeed behave weirdly. When I activated it it wouldn't allow me to actually pick a combination and automatically tried the default setting (Which doesn't do anything)

It could be that I wasn't in melee range, as someone said you need to be, but unless that's the case then I am not sure if there's a way to change the default setting when out of a fight since I haven't tried it. All I know is that it wasn't possible for me to use it, but I was still able to beat the encounter by keeping the boss permanently stunned/frozen.

it's a 12 meter limit.
discharge when he gets hit by lighthning, or else you're gonna cry.
deactivate weapon render him unable to attack with anything else than the thunder attack.
discharge steam makes steam... do discharge electricity right after that (if condition met, ofc) and he electrocute everyone in the cloud... including himself so he still has the lighthnin attack.
is all I got from playing myself.

I did not even know about the remote control until now.. I just fought him on tactician and I figured out if you use smoke grenades/arrows and block his view, he cant use his lightning attack and hes toast. The undead mages are the only real threat.

wow i beat this guy twice in 2 diff games in tacticion and had no info about the ability to disable his weapon.. just used oil fire to keep the warlocks away, and saved all my characters turns until the robot got within meele range, froze him and beat his ass LOL

Almost finished my honor mode run, have noticed that by far some of the more difficult boss fights occur at the start, and most will become cake walks if you just set up the fight right.

1. Separate one person from your group with the controller and use "walk in shadows"
2. Run up to Sparkmaster, between Sparkmaster and those wizards in the back
3. Go into your inventory and use controller- "vent steam" followed by "discharge electricity" before your "walk in shadows" runs out
4. Click back on your other three people (where ever you left them) and use your pyramid to zip directly beside your first

You will start the battle with Sparkmaster in a lightning cloud and your entire party surrounding the wizards in the back row. From that point on Sparkmaster shouldn't even have a round to move as you should keep him perma-stunned (drain willpower + anything shocking, at that range shocking touch will also be an easy 3 AP option). A single silver arrow will allow your three green friends to deal massive damage to him. Videos to shortly follow if none of that made sense.
