So how's performance? Resolution options?
Can't play right now or I'd check myself, but how is the performance of the EE? Original Edition was rather insanely single-threaded, so I was CPU bottlenecked quite a bit while my graphics card wasn't even breaking a sweat. I heard they did work making the engine multithreaded, so how well did they do?

Also, are there custom resolutions? 21:9, 3-monitor surround, etc? I know you can change resolution on the one monitor, just curious for options outside of the standard 4:3 and 16:9.

Well, if I remember correctly, yeah, the original one ran like garbage on my rig and sat around 75 fps while my gfx card did ♥♥♥♥-all with it, now, I'm running at 144 fps/mhz (my refresh rate on monitor) and my cpu is alot cooler, it seems like they definitely optimized it big-time so far.

Cant say anything about the resolutions. Sorry :)
But the performance is great.
2560x1440 @ 144 Hz running @ 144 fps.

Beautiful. Thanks, guys. That gives me hope for my rig.

I had a radeon HD 7850 1 gb and before I was getting choppy awful fps.

Now I have no problem whatsoever keeping 60 fps on high. CPU has been staying cool too. My GFX card has been running a little hotter than before but nothing unsafe.

Night and day difference this enhanced edition was the deal breaker for me to keep playing.

I wonder if your problem before was CPU bottleneck like mine was? What CPU do you have?

It runs very smooth now. I played the vanilla version with a FX8350, Radeon 7950,8gb Ram and it stuttered a little and the loading times were incredible but now everything is fast, smooth as it should be. A real difference.

Ah man, I can't even describe how good it feels to hear that!

I'm tempted to buy this game again on PS4 just to support these guys. To be able to see what was wrong with the original, fix it, and then give it out to existing customers for free...

That's worth rewarding.
