Voice acting is awful. :O

Please, everybody who thinks it is good and who played the original, please compare.
The new voices for the main characters are really bad compared to the same lines they had in the original (original was not fully voiced)
Same goes for NPCs, their voices had so much character in the original, now they are boring and uninspired, sometimes they sound like they had problems to read their lines.
And the cheese vendor is the WORST. Why didn't they use the original voice actors??

From what I've experience so far, much of it is better (with more variantion for the villagers - YAY!) and some are worse. Roderick's Rogue voice is getting to me, after a few hours of playing.

Yep, i wish there would be a mod or smth to return old voices. New acting is just hilariously bad at first and annoyingly awful after some time.

I actually think the voice acting if pretty good. I have the rogue voice and I don't see a problem at all.

None of the voice acting is bad. It may not be voices or style you like, but they are all of professional quality.

A button to turn off player voices would be great. I know that the old NPC voices won't return except per mod, but I'm looking forward to it. Hope someone has the knowledge and time to do it.

Ha! I just came here to voice my opinion on the voice acting also. It's so out of place now. It's so bad I can't continue on. Just terrible.

I made it to Madora and I just can't bare it anymore. They were so well done and fitting to the characters before. Why were they all changed? I guess I'll never find out because, I just can't go any further. Thank goodness the base game is still available.

Some of the changes are so bad it's like the people in charge are not the same or started using drugs.

To add: The game art changes are terrible too. Even the ugly face on the game shortcut sucks. Just bad changes all around so far. It breaks my gaming heart.

What happened is that your opinion is not the unequivocal truth on what good and bad game design is.

This game took a different aproach than what you would have prefered, deal with it or don't play. The desing isn't inherently bad just because you don't like it
