Can't open inventory with controller
The game's tutorial tells me to go to the 'radial' menu by pressing RT, when I do that it takes me to the character selection screen and there is no option to go to your inventory from there. I'm playing on single player btw

I'm having this same issue with my Xbox One controller. Both RT and LT take you to character selection screen, and leave no option for inventory selection.

I fixed the problem by downloading a new controller driver. Hope that helps.

Hi,
How did you update the drivers? It says i already have the latest version 10.0.14372.0
I even downloaded the xbox accessories and updated too, but still, cant access the inventory :(
Any help apreciated! Thanks

I updated mine through the device manager in windows. Open up Xbox peripherials, then double-click on the controller. That should take you to a page where you can select the drivers tab for your controller without doing it through the app. That's how I did it anyway.

If there is no update, try uninstalling the drivers. That may help (possibly removing rumble support), and if not try a reboot and reinstall.

Having this problem right now. I could puke. Seriously. Creating character, looking at the opening cinematic, running around. Getting more and more and more excited...

And then this HUGE SHOWSTOPPER
What the actual f#ck.

Girlfriend is using xbox 360 controller. No issues. I use Xbox One controller, everything works, except for the menue opening.
F#ck this ♥♥♥♥ and this useless pile of dirt developers.

I DID plug in plug out on every possible spot inside and outside of the game.
I DID totally deinstalled and reinstalled everything gamepad related with official windows driver installation
I DID switch USB slots.
I DID switch controllers for character.

16GB Ram Windows 10 AMD GPU AMD CPU.

Any solutions?!

Rolling back to the driver before the Win 10 anniversary update should help (Xbox One Controller - Can't open inventory[larian.com]).

Open the Device Manager, click 'Xbox Peripherals', right click 'Microsoft Xbox One Controller' and click on update: choose 'Browse my computer for driver software' and click 'Let me pick from a list of drivers' and roll back to a previous version (if none are listed, the second link below has a link to a topic post with a download link).

A patch for Windows has just been released that should resolve this issue. It is in today's cumulative update in Windows Update.

I did this and now both my Logitech and my Ps4 controllers work flawlessly as of 8:31pm on August 31, 2018.

The windows update should happen automatically, but you can manually install it. I just typed "windows update" in the taskbar search and it popped right up.
