Stuck at the Black Cove blood stone, appreciate some guidance...

I beat off the orcs and the undead, I outsmarted the mad wizard. I went down one set of traps to meet headless Nick, and down a diffrent set to fight a massive Source Spider and meet the lighthouse girl.
I flipped the switch in the pirates office, and pressed the button behind the painting.

It didnt seem to do anything...a little help,please?

there is a trap door in the corner to the left of the door leading down to Nick under some barrels.

There should be a trapdoor hidden in the pirate's office. Might be under a rug or a barrel or something?
