4K Fullscreen vs Fake fullscreen?
Disappointed that the game doesnt support 4K, or even 1440p. The only option showing in my video options is 1080p. Is this a bug? I'm on a LG 4K 65" OLED HDTV.

<updated> I see there is a "fake fullscreen" option that enables 4K. What are the differences between fullscreen and fake fullscreen toggles?

I'm playing Pacman at 4k res. I see all four pixels.

They showed 4k as a selling point in their D:OS EE video, so it sounds like a bug.

you need to go outside more often if 4K resolution is your biggest complaint.

playing at 1440p, so no idea what issue your having.

I'm missing resolutions as well. Not 4k resolutions, but for some reason I have no 1600x900 option and the refresh rates for many of my resolutions are funky. I also get an input out of range message on my monitor when I try to run it in 1080p fullscreen. I imagine this is going to get patched so it's luckily the game is amazing in the meantime. I'm sure you can wrangle some enjoyment out of it, even if you have to use a poor, pathetic pedestrian resolution like 1080p.

I know that feel.

I've updated my post because there actually IS 4K support, but you must enable the "Fake Fullscreen" toggle. Does anyone know what negatives there are, if any, between fullscreen and fake fullscreen?

We do have 4K support. If you don't see the option while you should, could you share the report generated by our analysis tool? (You can find it here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/373420/discussions/0/483368526589526428/)

Fake Fullscreen is just borderless window I think?

Did you enable 4K in your Nvidia control panel? Or AMD's?

"mommy, i can't jerk off to this without being 4k... can i whine about it on the Steam Community?"
Hyomoto Oct 27, 2015 @ 2:23pm
@Sir Tobias - Woah, think of it this way: he/she likely spent thousands of dollars to be ABLE to jerk off in 4k. You pay for it, you want to use it right? It's not a 'no one made you buy this' situation, it's a 'I spent the money, I'd love to be able to jerk off to it' scenario and you know, that's fair. Otherwise you paid for a bunch of highly expensive tech for nothing and while I might find that amusing I still understand the concern.
