I don't believe there are any globally alternating mods (changing visual/map), but most bug-fixing or balancing mods will add stuff like extra equipments, spells, or changing certain mechanics such as how stuns/freeze works, or crafts, etc.
Anyway, if you're looking for a better experience for your first time, I suggest looking at NexusMods(.com) or other sites you recognize. You can look for mods that have:
- auto heals after combat (or bedrolls)
- faster animation (or AI delay fix)
- faster movement
I see that XC_Bag, by FrauBlake, is on steam workshop, you could probably get that as it seems to have good overall fixes (I have not tried). But otherwise, EpicEncounter is pretty much the only mod out there for this game... which has fun changes, but overall, makes it more tedious/difficult.
but 6 men party mod. it lets you heal out of combad.. but it makes the enemys also a bit harder.. for a first play it would maybe be to hard for you. depending also on the dificulty lvl and how experienced you are in games like this.
so better jsut play it once and then if you want a nother attempt then take 6 men party or wich one apeals to you better.
