After V2.0.103.346, no matter how many times you restart the game, sooner or later after you standing onto the downtown area of cyseal or possibly any area with enough requirement to your pc, the game falls into some crazy relax. It would take more than a full cup of hot coffee which would take a while to cool down before you can drink it without hurting yourself to switch between partners, talk, interact with interactable and rise and shine. Your team mate walks either dropped behind or straight ahead then appear beside you. I even saw Aureus walk straight acorss the wall of his office to nowhere like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sorcerer. Turning the graphic to very low fix it immediately but my PC can run the game in ultra with good enough proformance.
Some says you won't have it if you have a pc powerful enough.

I have this same problem. I've fast travelled, entered combat, restarted, went to the end of time, and even removed ALL my armor, items, and weapon from madona, but she STILL has the permanent slow status from the sand storm. Entering and leaving the storm has no effect, it didn't even re-apply the slow status.

The main cause of environmental status effects possibly becoming permanent was fixed in one of the last updates, but there was a rarer trigger for this, not evident in the saves displaying this problem at the time. The cause of that has been determined, but unfortunately there is no ETA for when another game update may be released, and it can not be fixed directly from the save itself.

You should be able to find boots with an immunity to slowed bonus. If you save after leveling up, or after an hour, then check a few traders, you can reload and check them again in a different order to get different random loot generated.

There is a mod StatusInfluenceRemoval[www.nexusmods.com] which may be able to help.

Other than that, the only permanent workaround I know of is having Geomancer level 5 for the Weatherproof talent.
If you're playing on Windows, you can use CheatEngine[cheatengine.org] to do this. For the install you would either need to uncheck some extra 'offers', or install it while offline. There is also a no-install rar file[cheatengine.org] on the downloads page. If you don't already have an archive manager that can handle rar files, try the freeware 7-Zip[7-zip.org].

The 'latest' version table from this topic[forum.cheatengine.org] works for this purpose. It is a relatively easy process. Some stuff takes effect immediately; with talent points or changing the level of geomancer, a save/load is required to get the changes to show up in-game.

There is no save editor for the Enhanced Edition, and I do not know of any other trainers.

If you have a problem with this, or are playing in OSX or Linux, you can email supportdos@larian.com, with your latest save (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc), and I can return a modified save.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames_patch' folder.

2025- not fixed, I had a blast with a game so far but this is gamebreaking, I don't think I'm gonna finish it :(
