Headless Nick Quest Bug
The quest Headless Nick has a pretty obvious bug and I am suprised no one has this posted. Least not that I found.

I was exploring the town, found the key, got in the house, moved the rug, and found the dairy. All before I made my way to the performance area and even found the head or reginald. I got the head and took him to the cellar but the head doesn't think he is in the cellar and the quest does NOT progress. He asks like I dropped on the side of the road. I have to go back 30 minutes of game time before I found the key and cellar. :-\

My quest is bugged exactly the same way.

If memory serves me correctly, use the head while he is in your bag.

Quest resolves fine without taking head into cellar. In all the times i have completed playthroughs never took his head into cellar.

Unable to remove rug to get into cellar.

Edit: Able to move rug. Very tight space. Wonky on mac.

He believes he is in the cellar when you get near the table with the juggling stuff. Anywhere else in the cellar and he doesn't recognize it.

I have a different bug with him - for some reason the head is stuck in the bushes near the stage and I can`t pick it up.

Did you try zooming in and rotating the camera, or switching to the overhead view (hotkey B or the button on the right of the mini-map in keyboard mode).
If you have a controller, try the area search function (hold A to bring up a list of most interactable items around the character), or see if you can 'hold' the head and then highlight a container (on the ground or in the character's inventory) and see if you can place it in the container.

I'm having a problem with removing the rug too. Right clicking puts me in a state where I have to press Esc twice for any key press or mouse click to register.

Does anyone else hear the head's voice whenever you're in any cellar by the way? I was stealing things in another cellar and each time there was a little bit of snarky dialog from the head's voice but I did not have the head.
