2 questions about AI Personality in character creation process
Okay, I'll cut to the chase.

1. This will ONLY affect dual dialogue, right? When I encounter an NPC, the first choice should still be made by me even if they have AI personality, right?

2. Can I change their personality after character creation? Currently I have no AI personality for my 2 characters. I don't wanna start over and this dual dialogue mechanic is too fun to abandon it.

You can change it later in the game. In the End of Time section you will unlock a mirror where you can change appearance, voice and character AI

But I don't know about the character Ai, since I don't use it.

Is End of Time a quest?

How late is that for me to reset my character?

I'm currently 2 hours in, and still lingering about if I should start over...

The AI for the main character you are not currently controlling will respond to your dialog choices in a manner consistent with their AI. This may lead to disagreements, which are then resolved via the rock-paper-scissors game ... so sometimes your choices may be overridden. If you don't want this, then give your main characters the 'Loyal' AI. Or possibly 'None' .. I've not tried 'None', so don't know about that.

Edit: To clarify, the AI choice is not just for the "dual dialog", if I understand the meaning of that term. Rather, it will also sometimes affect your dialog choices with NPCs. For example: I was talking to a potential companion and decided to take him on ... but then my alter ego says "You will not!". I lost the game and couldn't recruit that companion at that time.

None is the best imo. You decide everything for both characters.

I will assign one "Loyal", the other "Random".
If I'm rather determined in a single scenario, I would choose the "Random" guy to trigger dialogue, thus the "Loyal" one should follow. Vice versa if it's hard for me to make decisions.

Also, about the example you mentioned, when a character says "You will not!", that triggers a dual dialogue or argument, right? Can't let the AI dictate!

Well, to me, the uncertainty of video game world is fun! :)

Also, when will I unlock the first mirror? It should be pretty early, right?

No. In the example given, it triggered the rock-paper-sissors game, which I lost. So in that case, the AI did dictate the outcome.

Not early. Depends on how fast you play, I guess -- for me, it was around 80 hrs. But then, I spent over 100 hrs on the Cyseal map.

Choosing no AI character trait allows you to dictate both ends of the dual dialogue.

I thought so too, before finding out that the ending may be different depending on how often the characters agree and disagree. Some of those endings are really bad if the characters are too different.

I just turned off the dual dialogue.

Talking to myself is just stupid.

I won't reactivate it until I can reset their personality.
