Axe kit part 3, not working...

I have crafting and blacksmithing 5, and I am trying to combine axe part 3 with the upgradeable Axe which is at level 2. It keeps saying invalid each time. Did I miss something? Are there both 1 and 2 handed upgradeable axes?

you have to combine the additional parts in order; if you've missed 1 part, then you will not be able to combine the final piece. The axe is 2h only, there's a sword for 1h.

If it's any consolation, the finished product stinks, I just finished it and it's worse than what I already had prior to being able to acquire the last piece.

And once it is done you can't even upgrade it with tormented souls/tenebrium/etc... What a waste of a cool idea, might as well not have even put them into the game...

Waiting and making the Sword of Planets and Buffalo Sabre end game will yield much, much... MUCH better weapons...

Same issue here and I have the 2 parts in already with level 5 crafting and it still wont let me craft it together, so sick of this buggy game
