Crafting
I read somewhere that if you have blacksmith of 5 then when you craft a weapon they will have a random stat increase (example +1 strength). I have just tried this and it did not work, anyone got any info for me because if crafting cant give stat boosts then they seem a bit weak,

craft is a bit lackluster in this game, and the stuff you can craft is vastly outdone by the random drops you find.

crafting and blacksmithing is extremely important in this game. Craft food and potions to use in combat. Craft armor and weapons to sell in order to make money to buy better equips. The higher your crafting and blacksmithing, the better the quality of the goods you craft and the more money you will make when you sell them. Pickpocketing only goes so far; each character can only pickpocket the same npc one time. An stealing does not help much because items do not replenish after they have been stolen

blacksmithng lvl 5 can add a stat to your weapon. craft multiple of the same equipment in one crafting session

You can also combine Elemental Essence to increase damage; ie: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. Do a Google search for crafting chart, its probably not for EE, but close.

From my own experience, Black smithing daggers provides a random stat increase - Dex, Speed, luck, +1 action points,This doesn't seem to be the case with swords and axes though. Can use a Tormented soul on them to provide stat boosts.

2 handed swords, and axes get attribute stat boosts sometimes. 1 handed weapons except rapiers mainly only had max ap 1 on them from my experience. Bows get stat boosts of either dex, speed, or max ap. Don't have craft lvl 10 yet. I do know that at crafting lvl 9 the random stat boost acquired during crafting is doubled. I've had bows that had +2 dex or speed when created.
The quality of the crafted item increases as you gain Character Levels. It's not just the Blacksmith/Crafting points.
