Average Play-length & Replayability?
According to howlongtobeat it says the game takes about 72 hours to beat, which sounds great to me, quite a generous helping of RPG. I was curious though what other players think in terms of how long the game lasts? Also is there much in terms of replayability either in terms of branching storylines or very different playstyles that make this game appeal to playing over and over?

I'm a huge fan of classic CRPGs like Baldur's Gate and was wondering if the amount of playtime this game offers is well worth the price?

I'm currently a bit torn on getting this now while on sale or getting the Pillars of Eternity Expansion Pass.

We just beat the game yesterday (after taking a break when Fallout came out) and my total play time is 109 hours. Granted you need to mix in us going afk occasionally in there, too. I'd say 70-100 hours is a good estimate on gameplay time.

As far as replayability goes, I don't know. I was playing it a lot back before EE came out both as a multiplayer and solo. Now that I know how the game ends, I'm not entirely sure how driven I am to play. On perk is playing a new character. There are so many various ways to make a character, it holds that replayability like old Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale games go.

There is also lone wolf options where you can play with a full team or just the two characters you make.

Various difficulty levels also add a bit of a challenge to the game if you want to explore those options.

Personally, I'd get it over Pillars. I have Pillar's on a wishlist, but my fiance already had started playing Pillars and lost interest in it. If you have the cash, get both. Either way, I really enjoy the unique flavor of this game.
