Should I get this for PS4 or PC?
So I guess it basically controller or mouse/keyboard?

I like playing on a big screen TV instead of a small 20 inches monitor. Yes I know you can hook up with an hdmi but because of input lag it not the same.

Sounds like you've already decided for yourself based on your screen preference, but I'm always advocating PC because of Mods and in the most dire of circumstances such as game breaking bugs, Cheat Engine.

Well, I only will say that keyboard controlls in the game is much more comfortable. Like in every tactical RPG.

If you want a hassle free experience go for the PS4, if you want more, then go for the PC version, mods available, and also patches seem to come sooner and more steadily for PC than consoles, at least in my previous experience owning some games in both PC and the old PS3 format...

Oh I forgot to mention that the advantage on PC is that I can play with my friends. The thing is is this similar to Diablo 3 where playing on a console is more enjoyable because your actually playing as your character instead of point and click? I know that the EE has controller support for PC so that is why I ask this question even on a PCMR forum.

I use a 40 inch 3D TV as a monitor too, and I can't see the benefit of playing this game on PS4.

(I have PS4, PS3, PSVITA, PSP mostly for playing JRPGs)

I got it on PC as well as a gift for my friend as well. Friends matter more, I want to play with friends so I got it for PC.

I'm no longer a PCMR but I will always be a gamer since I have all 3 main platform.
The wife and I bought it on PS4 to support the devs, and let me tell you, that was a mistake of the highest magnitude. It is literally unplayable in most larger battles. Maybe they patched it by now, but units would just freeze up and it became so choppy you couldn't give orders or anything. I can't believe they released it that broken.

Now we've been waiting for a week to finish our playthrough on pc because of the lag during the end game. Hopefully some day...

Look like I made the right choice then. Thanks. Reason I even ask is that the PS4 is slighty superior than my PC spec but I'm able to run it on max everything with good fps so it a wonderful surprise. Though I still cringed thinking of playing this on my big 65 inchest HDTV though.
No problem man, glad I was able to help.
