How to get past guy on beach?

Hi guys. I am in the first area of the game, and need to get into Evelyn's lair. I know I am supposed to use Reveal scroll, but the guy laying nearby wakes up and attacks me, also turns invisible. How do I fight him? Help appreciated :)

you can make him slip by throwing some freeze grenade before the battle

Thanks for the info. My main concern is when he turns invisible. I read online that using Rain Spell/Scroll works for this, but where can I get one?

Im not really sure, but i think arhu or the spell vendor on cyseal market sometimes have it. As long as he received some kind of dmg he will be revealed, so poison grenade, fire, etc should work too

Hi again guys. I am stumped on Jake's Murder quest. I know I am supposed to go to Evelyn's lair on Beach eventually, as that was as far as I got in game previously before I had to reformat my laptop. Anyway, I stole Esmerelda's book and confronted her with it, and also stole some stuff in Evelyn's house. I also dug up Jake's grave, found the sheep, confronted Coroner and had him arrested. After all of that, I am still not sure where to go or how to proceed. Thoughts and help appreciated :)

Have you been out of the town yet to fight? The west side of the town (not from the harbour, from the main part) has the fights you should be able to do right now. Clear that out, and whenever you're feeling good, you eventually head north through a cave to get to the north beach where the lair is.

Iirc the route for level progression is like this: clear cyseal talking quest>go west of cyseal>go north>go south to the beach orcs>go east>clear the rest of the map

Hi guys. I am currently in the basement of King's Crab Inn/Tavern, and am trying to find secret room. I removed the 3 hams from wall in kitchen, but no switch was revealed. How do I proceed? Help appreciated :)

Update: I read on Wiki that I need to go to Esmerelda's House, not the Inn/Tavern. Anyway, where is her House in the town? Help appreciated :)

Hi again guys. I finally got Evelyn to leave the Clinic. Anyway, I am currently in the Western (?) part of map where the Lighthouse is (Although I have not done that quest yet). When should I head to Secluded Beach and Evelyn's Lair? Should I explore other parts of map beforehand? Thoughts and help appreciated :)

Level 5-6 to go up to the cave and then explore the northern beach area. You can also start the orc beach area around level 6 or 7.

what level are you on now? you can try exploring the map by yourself, but if you see enemies with 3 lvl higher than you, maybe you are on the wrong way. It is still doable but if you're going blind with your build, you are going to have a hard time

My 2 Characters are level 4-5. Both are Battlemages I think. I found the Church in Cyseal and met the Cult Leader (?), but did not follow him into the basement yet. Should I do other quests first? I still have yet to finish the Murder quest and confront Evelyn in her lair. Further thoughts and help appreciated :)

you're going too far, clear the zombies on the left side of cyseal and north side first. After that go to the orc beach on south of cyseal

Progression seems to be reversing. You should not have seen evelyn in the clinic, as obtaining the reveal scroll forces her to leave in the first post.

Seeing how they made it okay that far, I see no reason for them to back track :/

I am still on first playthrough of game. Am I doing things out of order? I really enjoy game, but log/journal and game in general isint very clear on where to go and how to proceed. Should I start over?
