Have I reached a dead end? Am I stuck?
So I'm at the "Closing the rift" quest where I need Tenebrium weapons. I doing this with a friend, we're both mages and lonewolves, and we do have the Tenebrium skill. The problem is that I read that you can get Tenebrium weaopns in three ways.

Buy it from the village to the east (don't remember the name)
- The issue here is that we've slaughtered the place. Why? Don't remember, and it doesn't matter. What matter is that the smith is no more around

Craft it by making ore into bars, than combine with weapons.
- Being mages we did not put pints into blacksmithing. We do not have so many skillponits lying around to get the needed 4 in blacksmithing just to make the bars. Getting 4 in blacksmithing with gear works, but then when we tried to apply the bars onto weapons, in this case a sword. Again, skillpoint is to low and I've read that you have to raise your Tenebrium skill to level 3 to upgrade a sword. And this we cannot do.

Combine a branch with Tenebrium ore
- Sure, that made a water wand which actually states it's a Tenebrium weapon. However, it did nothing to the Blood stone. Zip, zilch, zero.

So are we stuck? Any suggestion what to do?

First of all it's sad that you must take a forced warriors path here with Weapons though there's no warriors in the part, but also, it's sad that it seems actually can lock you down like this.

There's other tenebrium weapon sellers, at Hunter Edge. You can even find some for free in the Inn Cellar.

Try to find Tenebrium wands I guess.

Yu should have picked up tenebrium weapons when you killed off the smith's apprentice in Sacred Stone. Some don't say tenebrium but dark instead, e.g. dark shield. If you sold off all those weapons go back to the merchant you sold them to and buy one back. Only one character needs to bash the stone to destroy it.

Oooh, I have a Dark Sword there. Didn't notice it was Tenebrium. Thanks!

The tenebrium weapons have a little shiny dot on their icon which helps to spot them.

Ok, Dark weapons do not damage the bloodstone at all. Still stuck with this stupid quest.

What did you do with the weapon drops after killing the smithy in Sacred Stone? If you sold them then go back to that merchant and buy one back. If you left them lying there they will still be there. If you have the tenebrium ore make it into bars and combine with a homemade weapon of choice. Requires blacksmith skill of 4 to make the bar, crafting skill of 5 and tenebrium skill of 3.

You are not the only one OP, i've spent 50 hours on this game and i still didn't finish it XD, too hard, will probably change to easy difficulty :(

I have finnaly found Tenebrium weapons in the cellar of the Orc Inn in Hunters Edge. So now I just need to spend time finding +STR items to be able to wield these.

For a game the promises freedom in character development etc, its strange that it enforces you to solve things in just one way so many times. Like the high Perception needed i Knights Tomb.

m_archl0rd: As for as I know Sacred Stone only had "Dark weapons" but non with Tenebrium damage. I have looked high and low and in all the stores where I'm selling things.

Funny, I bought and sold tenebrium weapons there. What difficulty are you playing?

Well, it does assume players will have the good sense to build a ballanced party instead of doing something like 2 characters with pretty much the same abilities. That's asking for trouble IMO. That being said, I think this is the only major roadblock. You may have trouble with the super undead(forgot what they are called) since they move fast, are immortal without a certain skill, and should have no trouble one shotting both your guys. You really need a tank capable of surviving a hit or two and being resurrected repeatedly. You may be able to summon your way around that though.
