welp, that was hard to find.
Given this link, I have a few questions:
- Where is this rock elemental it talks about?
- I mistaken "Talk to the humans in Hunter's Edge and tell her to be patient." no more chances to complete it peacefully?
- Will Norok become hostile when I start the conflict in Hunter's Edge?
- The link says it is a "chance" of having the option to spare him... does that mean it works on a roll (which increases if I cumulate forgiving speeches) and I can simply try and try again until it happens? or I must meet all requirements?
I have no idea about the rest. Either way its a morally poor and selfish decision to let him live. You possibly give up the lives of dozens of people hes going to torture later on, just to spare yourself the discomfort of having to kill him.
Those people he killed in the past are actually responsibility of that monster of leader orcs have.
This is mainly the reason for which I wanted to spare him...
But if I have to face him later on during the conflict, it doesn't make sense to spare him now, and lose Madora forever later. Thus I was asking if he stays friendly when her dearest mommy will be a bunch of bones and blood sparse in the floor.
Knowing a bit before going to experiment is always a better option, to save time (which I can't spare lately) and annoyance (my game is not very fast to reload). XD when I gather informations I'll be returning to it.
Also, is the achievement rewarded whether I kill the guy or spare him?
Letting him live would only make sense if there was another NPC willing to "rehabilitate" him or keep him locked up in some way.
I did talk to that guy in the prison, but Madora said nothing... do I have to free prisoners for something to change? I'd prefer not to annihilate the village yet...
You totally have a point about Norok, but I don't think he is that much of a danger without a brain behind him, for the reason as you said he has the IQ of a primate... Whatever he has done, it's because "her mom" told him to do "that game with his toys"... in his room in the tavern he keeps talking with himself, jumping on the pillows pile and greeting the subjects painted in the pictures... about a npc to "rehabilitate" him we could still imagine to do that by ourselves or that even Madora might do that in the later future...
I will kill him if I have tho...
And yes, the orc is dumb, but he has the size and strength of an orc, and could easily overpower any avarage human. He enjoyed the tortures, and you dont have to be a genius to seek pleasure. What makes you think he wouldnt attack the next caravan or traveller he encounters? Especially if you wipe out Hunters edge, eventually he would be forced to leave, either out of boredom or because he needs food.
Yes, she has, and I've been here before, so I might even have already talked with this guy and simply don't remember... so I can get away of this place, before this shouting makes me crazy (they do more noise than an army O.o), in future I'll probably come back and free them all, but I need a way not to loose rep in the process.
I'm not sure how far can that orc go alone.. XD Ok, he is as strong as a wall, but without the protection of his fellows, alone around the land filled with humans/monsters, he is still a minority... Any militia would end up killing him I guess... but you're right about one thing, he has not a shiny destiny in front of him, either way... :/
The fact he enjoyed tortures is the result of the brainwashing, he is not aware that he is actually hurting his friends/toys, since someone else made him believe that is a nice thing.. that can be reverted, his weapon can be removed from him, and he can be teached to enjoy other kind of games, and why not, a bit of love (that orcs are normally denied in their tribe) that he has never tried for sure. The real issue behind this is that there must be someone powerful enough to do this...
