Enh. Edition - Stuck after defeating Boreas need help
The quest i am on is Find the Witch. I defeated Boreas, took the staff back to the forge, freed the Elementals. However, the Fire king has a conversation with me but doesn't give me the Rune that is mentioned in all the walkthroughs for the original version. There is a barrier right where Boreas was at X233 Y231. How do I get past that barrier? Is that the barrier I'm supposed to even pass through? ULtimately I'm trying to find Icara and free her. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Can't find a walkthrough on google search that explains this.

For the barrier, talk to a statue there, on the wall near the corner to the right of the barrier, where the Blooming Sentinel is/was.
I am stuck in the same place. Guess I may have missed a scroll to talk to statues. :(

Try and throw a teleport pyramid through the forcefield.
There is a second exit. The force field I dont know if can be shut down. The game sometimes lacks information about quests. Especially this. I have been playing consulting google all the time I am lost.

The force field blocking the way to the treasure room *can* be deactivated.

As Raze said above, there is a statue on (or better half inside) the wall next to where the earth statue is or was (if destroyed).
Talk to it (right-click), give the correct answer to its question for the name of Boreas earthen brother (Lurrean) and the barrier will disappear.

As also said above, one can throw one pyramid behind the barrier and teleport there with the other. No removed barrier necessary in this case.

The treasure room is only really important for the Wishing Well quest, for the winter amulet (or ring? don't remember) and some chests with possibly usable gear, but not for the main quest.

The door without barrier ('second exit') leads to the cave where you entered Hiberheim and also to another treasure room which is also unimportant for the main quest.
