Diablo 3 vs This game
well , ive only completed the Diablo 3 "starter edition"(demo/free test) yet i think i'm able to compare these two games.

Too bad that Diablo 3 is a tiresome and brainless clickfest, with repetitive enemies and dungeons because I loved its darker tone, i loved New Tristam! I havent felt compelled at all to buy Diablo 3, i had been already tired of the game by the time i completed the free Act I.

On the other hand, this game., which i bought recently asap because of what i heard from the combat. I wasnt let down, i ♥♥♥♥ING loved it! It was better than i thought, i found the combat really entertaining and rewarding. This game also has a lot of books, dialogues, exploration, deep crafting system, etc. Nonetheless, i feel a bit bothered by its "colorful tone" and childish voice acting. Sometimes i feel like i'm playing a game made for children, this is especially evident when im talking to animals.

What have i created this thread? dont ask me..... o.O

Well that's not exactly a bad thing if that's how they want to play. That's talking about normal players. As for youtubers...

Most game related Youtube videos are about gameplay, no doubt many of them skip the story. Jumpcuts, wanting to avoid spoilers, keeping the video more interesteing for the viewer (showing the more action oriented parts), etc. You can't really say you know what a game is about (much less an entire genre of games) by watching videos of it. Like I said, many of these games actually have great stories (talking about quality not preference). It's not exactly fair to brush off the efforts put in by the writers involved in the development of these games just because the main focus is "mindless" killing and looting. GTA games are 90% about running around gunning people down and blowing things up, yet I've heard nobody complain about a lacking story (a little less so for the latest installment but surely it's still decent in its oun right).

Again, you've made up your mind and that's fine. I just ask that you don't mislead newcomers that are willing to give these games a try.

I think the youtubers have also already played the game before most of the time? There's some higher-experience players that have seen all they needed to see and just rush everything useless like reading item descriptions or wasting time checking loot below top rank etc.
