How do I use arrowheads

So I tried to use the arrowheads during combat but I don't see a difference. It just looks like I'm shooting from my regular crossbow. Am I using it right?

Drag the arrowhead type you want to use to your hotbar and use that by clicking it to shoot the special arrows.

In the inventory you can also double click an arrow, or right click and select 'Shoot arrow'. Special arrows should be easily distinguishable from a regular bow/crossbow attack (they would do elemental damage, or have a surface or cloud area effect, etc).

The actual arrowheads are used in crafting arrows (combine them with resistance potions, poison potions / intestines / rotten eggs, oil or Drudanae, then an arrow shaft).
