If you want some good Diablo style games, I'd highly recommend 'Guild Wars 2' which has a ton of content and places to explore in its still being expanded mmo format. If not that game, then that Diablo mobile port is pretty good and you don't notice any dropoff in gameplay to force purchases until the end of the story. 'Lost Ark' is also an excellent arpg which, again, can be played with no in-game purchases well into the endgame.
2.) The extra info about the 1st Game,
I thank for Bonus Info added on Top,
so no biggy.
3.) I'm mostly just looking to Game with a few friends in Offline Diablo Style.
4.) Diablo 4, is entirely Online, with a mixed in Support for Offline, however? I scrapped that off my list because I think the New Dev Changes will ruin it.
5.) I've heard of Guild Wars or 2, never played, but I think it's only Online, & I dun have Internet right now.
6.) DLC, Expansion Packs, & MOD's aren't a concern really for me, i'm not hugely invested in Expanding further right now. Kinda doing this all much more cost efficient. Season Passes, Packs, High Costs, & Monthly Fees, are more concerning to me, & very disliked.
7.) Lost Ark, no in-game purchases?
Not sure about that one, well see.
8.) Not a Mobile Phone Fan, wanting to
throw mine away at some point. They
cause too many Problems today.
9.) Divinity II, better of the 2 Games?
-- Hopefully, yur right.
-- I had doubts about it,
---- over the Cover Art.
I was hoping for a bit more Weapon flexing, & change... But i'm guessing Character Class is locked to the Characters, no? Meaning no Clubs, no Bats, no Axes, no Meat Cleavers, no Hatchets, no Boomerangs, no Throwing Stars, no Throwing Knives, no Guns of any kind?
Am I correct about this?
In case it's not clear, turn-based means that you and the opponent take turns, kinda like in board games or card games.
But i don't blame you for confusing Divinity II with D:OS 2, it's kinda the devs' fault and the only way it could've been more confusing is if a Spanish guy was referring to it as "D:OS dos".
I can see how you might get that wrong impression if all you did was watch the trailers, which might give someone new to the game the wrong impression that it is like Diablo (simply because Diablo games feature a similar overhead point of view).
But it's really, really, really not.
Diablo is a button-mashing arcade-style, real-time action game, based primarily on mindlessly spamming buttons constantly.
In very strong contrast, Divinity: Original Sin (also also D:OS part 2) is a turn-based strategy/tactics game, with no arcadey gameplay and no button mashing.
Also, your OP is not clear if you are meaning to talk about Divinity Original Sin and part II, or if you are instead, in contrast to that, talking about another game from the same devs which is literally named Divinity 2, but that is actually a totally different games than Divinity: Original Sin 2, and this board has nothing to do with that game.
