"A Mysterious Murder" Quest Help

Hi guys. I am still early in game, on first play through, even though I re-installed and restarted on a new laptop. I am working on "Mysterious Murder" quest, and ready to confront Evelyn (?). I know her secret lair entrance is on northern beach, but every time I try to reveal it, a guy laying on beach confronts me. If I lose dialogue with him, battle starts, and he turns invisible. How should I proceed? Help appreciated :)

Win the battle or win the three or four RPS games against him to avoid a battle.

Is there a way to keep him from turning invisible? If not, is there a way to disable his invisibility?

In the beach there is a cove you go in .

He won't be very far away so use an Area Effect spell where you think he might be.

Damage him through aoe or kill all the sand mobs. He'll automatically come out of invisibility after the mobs are dead.

Hi guys. I still need to complete that quest, but are there other areas I should go to beforehand? My Characters are both level 5. I have been to Lighthouse area, the 4 element pillars caves, destroyed Ahruru's (?) robot and helped fabulous five there. When should I do the Church area, Cyseal Harbour, and finally Evelyn's lair? Further thoughts and help appreciated :)

church area should be last so make sure you do all the other areas of the starting map before you do the church area. At that point you can finish up any misc quests or things you want to do in this map then you can head north into the forest and the next part of the game.

I read you can have a character go invisible with the scroll...use it, go inside...and use the pyramids to get the other in....but I just fought him. I believe you can Use Rain spell to see where he is....but I just kept killing his summons until he eventually cast a bunch of spells and appeared and then killed him.

That fight was a pain, he will turn visible after a few rounds of combat, I just stunned his as much as possible until I dealt with his friends. Since you know he is going to be there, summon your monsters before combat, it should help a lot.
