Minimap bug

I'm playing with controller.
On minimap, the arrow is turned for 30 degree's to the left from the true direction, which in results looks like if I am side walking. Camera direction does not change arrow's direction and I checked if my character doesn't stand relaxed and turned a little.

Have you tried setting the minimap to "don't rotate," aligning yourself to the north camera-wise, then re-enabling rotation? Though I'm unsure how the arrow can be 30 degrees to the left from the "true direction" if camera direction isn't changing the arrow's direction, since in that case every time you change your camera direction it would stay in the same spot on the minimap but be further or closer to your true direction...

I am playing with not rotating map, but even after switching this function on, problem still occures.

What exactly you don't understand? I would understand that you don't believe that arrow is twisted, but after your further wonderings, I lost.
Yes, arrow and camera stays in the same spot and you are only turning camera around your char, changing the direction you are facing with the camera (unless you press L Analog, which allows you to move camera freely)

It's been five years and I'm now experiencing the same issue. I can't find any other thread about it online. Also on controller, with fixed minimap direction.

dude that game came 2012 out.. its 2024.. 12 years passed.. they not going to fix anythink. espacialy some problems come because windows changed.. dircet X changed and tons of software too.. million things changed.. those issues happen. only chance is to make a fix in steam. an troubleshoot. that is the most you can do.

and if i am not wrong you played the game before right? you cna also open the map.. what is the problem with that.. so it does not work.. try playing it without it.. its not an gamebreaking thing. that is normal for old games.
