Controller or KB/M
I've played several hours of the game, using a DS4, and I thought it translated well to the controller. However, I'm curious to know how smooth the controls feel on keyboard and mouse as well. Anyone played with both before and have an oppinion?

Everything takes longer to do with a controller. Especially the inventory management. It's frustrating, at least for me.

Other than that it works just fine.

I find it cool to play on controller. I can lay on coach comfortably. Also eq management and moving around the GUI is well prepared.

I've played it on PS4 with a controller and its fine though messing with items can get a bit finnicky.

Battle is fine.

I borrowed an Xbox One copy of this game to play on my Xbox One, but had to return it before finishing the game. Obviously I used the Xbox One Controller for it. Now that I have a PC copy, would it be better for me to stick with the controller or use a keyboard and mouse instead. I have been reading that the fonts on the UI are a bigger if you choose a gamepad setup instead. Is this true?

Also apparently it is easier to toggle loot on the ground with the contoller than with the keyboard and mouse.

On gamepad there are different method of maintaining your items. While playing on tv, I prefer gamepad, even if its harder or lack os some features.or longer to maintain things. On PC directly, I also prefer gamepad :D

Thanks. I have gotten used to using the Xbox One contoller myself. I was just wondering if there are any advantages of using a keyboard and mouse in this game.

You can set precise formation like . . Or : or + etc. However, I didnt find this that useful

Thanks. I will stick to using the controller then. Since I already have experience in playing the game, I might just change my character's build a bit this time around.

I played with a keyboard and mouse and that worked fine for me. Maybe a controller is good too.

I recently tried with a controller just to see what it was like, and I couldn't figure out how to perform the equivalent to the keyboard's CTRL +click command (i.e. to target friendly character, or the ground). How is that done with a controller?

Target friendly character I guess is not, but if you want to walk or make an action on an element, just press left analog (I guess, or one of D-pad) than point your object, than long press A or just press A

The above works for items or objects; in general, there is an 'Attack Ground' command you can add to the hotbar (press Y, select a slot on the hotbar, X, Skill, switch to Special section, select 'Attack Ground' and press A).
