Report a translation problem
The classes are mere 'templates' or 'suggestions'. There's only one single thing, the 'class' determines: the starting gear.
All starting points can be freely distributed though and the characters can be developed in any direction.
And yes, Clobbering Time is an awesome club you can wield until at least level 10.
Single-Handed always counts as long as you don't wield a two-hander or an offhand weapon.
It does not affect wands though, those have their own weapon ability. (Which stacks with Dual-Wielding, other than Single-Handed ...)
