Never HAd The Chance to Use the "Soul Forge Ritual" (Spoilers)
As the title says I got through the entire final level, destroyed the Trife, fought Leandra and I'm now about to enter the final portal (I guess) and fight the Void Dragon and no dialog or opportunity to use the Soul Forge Ritual ever came up. Icara mentioned it after waking from the dream after destroying the Trife but there was no way to resopnd that we should do it. Now it appears both Leandra and Icara are dead. Did I miss something? I'm getting a little tired of having to alt+tab out of the game every 10 minutes in order to figure out all of the obtuse riddles and puzzles in this game. "It doesn't hold your hand" has become code for "unless you're willing to waste dozens of hours trying to figure out our poorly explainded puzzles you'll be using Google. A lot.

You will have the chance to use it after you entered the final portal and defeated Leandra

If Icara is alive when you defeat Leandra, a dialogue will be automatically triggered where you have the option to perform the ritual, or not.

Sorry but Icara says she would like to restore the soul forge with Leandra and I'm only given the choice to say "let's move on" or "are you sure that's a good idea". And that's it. I chose the second oprtion, fought Leandra and then fought the Void Dragon. Never had the choice. I looked somewhere online that said I needed to have both characters stand on a pressure plate in order to get the option. Either way there was no obvious way to repair the soul forge. But after spending 170 hours in this game I realize that NOTHING is obvious, even the stuff that should be. Luckily alt+tab works good in this game or I would've gave up on it somewhere at the 60 hour mark.

Having the main characters stand on pressure plates to advance at the start of that section of the game was in the original (Classic) release. In the Enhanced Edition, the end section of the game was redone, and a dialogue about the sould forge should be triggered when Leandra drops to zero health, assuming Icara is still alive and you have the Soul Forge ritual. If Icara is dead, there is no way to restore the soul forge.

You have to have the ritual in one of your two characters' inventories as well. This may sound like an obvious statement but having it in a bag or on another NPC might muck up the script.

I think Icara died before the fight was over. So that explains why the dialog didn't trigger. And I definitely had the ritual in my main character's inventory.
I came to this discussion because the same thing happened to me. I searched through every merchant but couldn’t find it either. However, the quest said I had received it. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to load previous saves, and I realized I did have the scroll. I discovered that this scroll can be combined to create blank scrolls, so that’s what happened in my case. Maybe it happened to you accidentally as well...

The problem is sometimes those spells/scrolls like Soulforging spell or barrier spell and so on.. they are scroll.. and sometimes if you dont watch out and you do combine pixidust with paper it can be used accidentily to creat a new scroll of witchery.

other than that.. one of your meincharakters needs to have it in his inventory.
could also be that you send it to the homestad and forgot about it. or you where somewhere and you was thinkin i will empty my inventory and throw all useles stuff on the ground and you accidently lost it.??
